It’s in our DNA

Over the last 3 or so years, the care team at Forever Friends has been honored to serve thousands of people experiencing the loss of an important member of their family.

Using our core values as a guide, we strive to be the company we would trust in our own of time of need.

While there are quite a few pet cremation companies in the Columbus and Central Ohio area, I’ve been reflecting on what makes us different. After all, none of us has a proprietary cremation system or vehicles. And I would guess many companies source urns from the same manufacturers.

What then makes us who we are? Here are three things that define our company:

First, are our people. There isn’t a company around that wouldn’t say the same thing. But at Forever Friends, this is a fact. Every associate takes their job very seriously and personally. I’ve led many teams in my career – high performing, solid teams who do what they should – and none comes close to the group I work with today. From associates shedding tears with a family to sitting at the dining room table listening to stories, our associates make us different.

Second is our commitment to service. We are in the process of doubling the square footage of our offices, adding arrangement and viewing rooms and cremation equipment. Families who call on us expect prompt, professional services; this significant investment will allow us to provide the service they deserve.

Finally, this is all we do. No one has ever accused me of being a math whiz, but I see no way to devote 100% of our team’s focus and effort to more than one thing. We care for pets and their humans during a very difficult time. That’s it. Nothing less, nothing more.

I am humbled by the opportunity to care for families and their pets and to be the recipient of their trust. It’s a singular honor that I’m grateful for each and every day.
