Remembered by Austin Adams

Casper Adams crossed the rainbow bridge on February 19th peacefully in the arms of his dad.

Born July 1st, 2014, in Columbus Ohio, Casper was the son of Austin Adams and 5 years later also adopted by his mom Allie Marter.

Casper loved sunbathing, birdwatching, catching flies, cuddling with his mom/dad, and playing with his sister Macie. Living on OSU campus in my late teens and early 20’s, he was the life of the party. Friends would come over just to play with Casper. He was known as the “king” as he was always on the highest perch in his cat tree watching over us. He would be the first one to greet you at the door. We will think of him every time we open his favorite canned food and we will miss him every time we see his favorite toy. He will always be with us.

More than anything else, he loved his dad. He was always there with him through the highest highs and the lowest lows. He slept with him every night and didn’t get up until his dad got up too. From bottle feeding as a kitten to holding him until his last breath, Austin and Casper were inseparable.

Casper lost a battle with kidney failure and spent his last days with his beloved family. He was an intense fighter who just wanted to make his family happy.

He leaves behind his mom and dad (Austin & Allie) and his 2 year old furry sister Macie. He will be forever missed by his family. It gives me peace that you’re at peace and I can’t wait to see you again one day. I love you so much buddy.

Our family asks that you give all your pets some extra love in honor of Casper.
