In Loving Memory of Bama

As Remembered by Courtney and Andrew Chappelear

July 11, 2012 - September 6, 2023

In the first few minutes of September 6, 2023, Bama unexpectedly crossed the Rainbow Bridge while in the arms of her parents. On the other side ready to greet her are her older brother, Snickers, and her little sister, Scout. She leaves grieving parents, Courtney and Andrew Chappelear, and a host of other human and pet extended family members behind. Every one who met Bama loved her. She was expressive enough to hold a conversation with humans, stood her ground in adversity, and always had a smile regardless of the situation. She loved spending time with people, especially her little cousins. Although no one expected her to go so soon, she had nearly completed her personal bucket list shortly before her passing by swimming in the pool and living in a house with a yard of her very own. Although she was only able to enjoy it for a short time, her favorite activity was standing in her grass and watching the world around her.

Although our pain may never leave us, Bama's pain has and she is now in a place where every bed is a "big" bed, every snack is a tasty snacko, and every pet is a snussle. Bama will never hear the word "no" again, and will get to live the rest of her days in eternity doing whatever she wants. Her parents count down the days until they can see her beautiful face again.
